Every time I pass the eagle statues in front of the Atlanta Federal Reserve building (inset on the lower left of the above image), I’m reminded of the ominous 1910 illustration predicting what Atlanta might look like in 2010.
Compare the eagle-on-column from that futuristic picture with the one that exists today. Uncanny. Can a blimp-powered boat bus be far behind?
